Walmart

So I went to walmart yesterday and they were kind enough to give Steve a sticker. As we shopped for pudding for Micah I started to continue my thought from Sunday. About how this is what true Christianity looks like. Being unashamed of who you carry with you constantly. I know that this is supposed to be more of an exercise of not worrying but I am learning far more about looking strange to the world and being ok with it. I have friends who get excited when I tell someone new the story of why I carry Steve. When I went to class yesterday my teacher asked and it was easy to tell him. It rolled off my tongue as if I had always been telling people. If I can share the story of a plant why can't I share how Christ changed me just as easily. In simple and humble speech allowing the Holy Spirit to give me the words.

Everyday I go back and forth of whether or not I enjoy carrying Steve around. Today, I enjoy him.
