STEVE HAS BEEN TRANSFORMED....

Ok so not really....but I am the proud owner of a real Lily. Steve Deux is a hybrid lily. Yes I am going to continue with the Steve naming convention but seeing as Steve Deux is a bit more colorful and flowery I decided a french flair was necessary. Thus Steve Deux was born. 

You may be wondering what happened to the original Steve well he was bestowed upon another member of our team named Manny who desired to give him a good home. His palm, Jorge (Hor-Hey)  will now be the community plant. What this means is that Jorge is the Onething palm mascot and will require forfeit of rewards to care for him from various members of the team.

Now why did I choose to take Steve Deux? Thats an excellent question, I think I was seeking a bigger challenge. Not that Steve was any less meaningful for me but I don't think that my care of Steve was challenging my worry. I had accepted the fact that in order to care properly for Steve I was to be obedient and thus because Steve required so little I had no reason to be worried in the first place. I think that there are definitely issues that I have accepted the fact that as long as I'm obedient I need not worry about them. The part of the verses that we haven't gotten to the "Seek the kingdom" part. For me the Steve things are Money, Phone, Food, Clothes, Shelter, Gas. The things that require things for them to keep happening so far have been provided for me by faith for the past 9 months minimum. The Steve Deux things the things that I worry about tend to be my future relationships, direction, Family, change in general. Those are the things I worry about. Well not necessarily worry about but get anxious about. The things that have me biting my nails. I think Steve Deux is a bigger test of my ability to not worry since He potentially requires more careful attention and care. We shall see.
