Psalm 25:4-11

This morning I was looking through my bible and came across this:
Make me know Your ways, O Lord;
Teach me Your paths.
Lead me in Your truth and teach me,
For You are the God of my salvation;
For You I wait all the day.

Remember, O Lord, Your compassion and Your lovingkindnesses,
For they have been from of old.
Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions;
According to Your lovingkindnesses remember me,
For Your goodness' sake, O Lord.

Good and upright is the Lord;
Therefore He instructs sinners in the way.
He leads the humble in justice,
and He teaches the humble His way.
All the paths of the Lord are lovingkindness and truth
To those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
For Your name's sake, O Lord,
Pardon my iniquity, for it is great.
Ok, I have to stop there. Lately, God has been so good in being clear about what he is teaching me. Though I stumble and trip continuously, thats not what I remember. I remember the times where I am listening and learning from the God who seeks me out so diligently. I posted the other day that I discovered something new about my heart and its abilities. Well, I have discovered something new about my mind as well. Its not that God makes me forget memories of past transgressions, its that they are out of focus as long as my gaze is on him. Thats why Paul urges us to set our minds on Christ which when you do those things that seem to matter so much when your mind isn't on Christ hold no ground. Those worries and wants are sand in a windstorm but Christ is our rock and our shelter. Oh how the Lord has been revealing his hurts and joys to me so that I may know Him deeper. I would share but its not the time for that. I have felt a pain like no other though. Oh how diligently the Lord seeks us and pursues us. And the promise is so sweet if we allow ourselves to be found and ravished.
