I love correction! (No this is not sarcasm)

I really am beginning to enjoy correction for mainly two reasons. The first is that its teaching me something that I have never realized and as much as I am driven crazy that I am wrong in my flesh my spirit drinks in the wisdom like a traveller in the desert. I have been in a state of acquiring knowledge for so long that I thought thats all there was. That was my bread. Well it is time to add some butter, meat, cheese. I am ready for a sandwich. I need this wisdom, O Lord. Thank you for putting elders and mentors in my life who are willing to correct me and let me come back to You and seek You out. The second is that it reforms a part of my character that I need desperately. I have always struggled with authority and I know that correction..excuse me, hard correction is what I need in order to grow in submission to the authority that God has put over me.
