Maroon Pants

Today is a maroon pants day. Yes I am going somewhere with this. I am currently wearing a pair of maroon jeans that I myself think I look ridiculous in. Why would I wear them then? Because they are comfortable and as strange as they look, they suit me. I was thinking about the ridiculous things we do in order to maintain who we are. How often do I do things to remain who I am even though I may feel ridiculous. I know that I will probably get funny looks for the pants at some point today but I like my maroon pants even though I do think I look funny in them. You know its really how we should represent Christ. Christ is our maroon pants that even though we may not always be courageous and bold and screaming about our maroon pants that simply by wearing them that you are making a statement about who you are. For those who didn't understand what I just said. Represent Christ in your actions no matter how foolish you may feel because your strongest form of evangelism is being who you are in Christ.
