Day 4

So while I was more productive and selfless yesterday, I spent very little time with God. No tv and no internet basically all day till later at almost midnight when I spent some time with my brother.  So I was driving and talking to God and the conversation went like this...

G: So where have you been all day?

T: I've been around. I've been thinking about you all day.

G: you didn't spend time with me

T: but I sang and listened to music about you.

G: but you didn't spend time with me

T: but I didn't do anything out of selfish desire

G: but you didn't spend time with me

T: I know....so what do I do now?

G: listen. Do nothing just listen.

T: that's it?

G: that's it.

So the rest of the evening I said very little and just listened. Oh the things you hear when you are just listening.

So today's challenge... I'm continuing the facebook/twitter fast and its less of a fast but holding my tongue till careful thought and consideration is taken. My mouth stands open constantly with nothing to say. So I guess I am fasting my own opinion.
