Day 6 and a half

So today was my last day of work..... till next saturday lol. I had really thought about quitting but it's not time yet. Patience is a funny thing. In our society you never really know if you have any until you have to exercise it. It's like discovering a muscle group. Then it goes away until the next time you need it and realize that it's stronger than before. I keep telling people I hate my job and that it hurts every night when I come home and I don't have any time to do anything because I'm tired when I do have time... All of those things are half true which still makes them well-dressed lies. God is faithful and because of that I know that I have reason to maintain joy.

Word of the day today is Blithe: a joyful disposition

It's funny how God can grab your attention through the simplest things. A Blithe attitude will change everything. I really do think that the fruit of the spirit are in a specific order on purpose. So you can love and understand love. Love all things then have joy in all things. start simple and build. If the Lord's joy is what strengthens us then our Joy must also strengthen and delight the Lord. He is a God of relationship and response. We love because he first loved us. We have joy because he first had joy. Maintaining that Joyous attitude, learning how to enJOY all things, that is what it is all about for me right now. I have to be able to do that first before my patience can be complete.
